Quiz Update -- Still Hungary?
Since I was so late in posting clues/responses to guesses to Friday's multi-part geography quiz, I thought a new post was in order. To sum up:
1. We've heard about Ukraine, Slovakia, Austria...but the jury is still out on the other nations which border Hungary.
2. Still no word on the country with the biggest documented population of the Romani.
3. Thanks to Bootsy, we know about Clark. But who was "Pompey"s parent?
4. Swaziland it is! Anyone know what 2 countries are its immediate neighbors?
5. This continent-straddling nation is still a mystery to our players.
Comments
1. Maybe it is Rumania then.
2. Canada
3. Sacajaweha -- however, you spell it.
4. South Africa and, um, Zimbabwe.
5. Turkey

You're right on Sacajawea, half-right on Swaziland (S. Africa), and you've added Romania to our list of Hungary-borderers. But there are more. Nothing yet on #2 or #5.

I can't believe the landlocked african country wasn't Lesotho. You mean there's a smaller one? Ok then!
regarding the country founded by Hayk, I always knew it was between Persian and _____. I know what _____ is, but after I submitted Persia last friday, I confirmed on the wiki that it is in fact ______. May I submit it now? Or if I do, will it have been cheating?

It's Wednesday already...go ahead with your second guess.
Moreover, I find Lesotho is actually right, given that it's a few thousand square KM smaller than Swaziland. I was under the mistaken impression that it existed in some nebulous status vis-a-vis sovereignity with regard to South Africa, but as far as I can tell now, this is wrong. My apologies for the confusion.

While you are taking points away from me, you should be aware that I said rUmania not romania (which Jonathan said in the last set of comments anyway).
2. Russia
