I wrote my first limerick last night, and I wanted to share. (Actually, I wrote most of it last year and only finished it and adjusted the meter last night, but let's not quibble.)
There was an angry young man from Limerick;
The Welsh people he despised and would kick.
"You should learn to talk, you cur!
And use a brogue, not a burr!
Gentlemen speak in Gaelic, not Cymric."
