Streetwise rocks.

My first was Manhattan & who doesn't remember their first? This must have been about '93. I usually try to be very surreptitious when cracking open a map in an unknown land, but I was sitting on a bench in Washington Square Park and I unfolded the laminate God. Things are clearly marked. All the subway lines shown. I didn't notice the local beside me until he asked where *he* could get such a map.

I recently came across the map whilst cleaning out my desk (a Sisyphian job that never gets completed). I see the WTC on it and and sit and think and wonder what's going in there.
