Tomorrow's Media Obsession -- a Preview

For the discriminating appreciator of infant beauty, we now offer a selective gallery of H.C. Claire-themed images.

With apologies for your editor's general lack of photo editing/html layout know-how. Improvements are scheduled, right after I get about sixty more hours of sleep.

Love the Warhol effect of the 'more to come soon' photos. That's one sleepy-looking baby.

In retrospect, I suspect I picked that one for the placeholder because it perfectly captured my own state of mind at half-midnight last night, when I finally got this page scraped together.

Hey, do you suppose Warhol's genius was that he just got really sleep-deprived and wound up kind of desperately repeating a single thing with the intention to fill in with something better later? "I'll just send a bunch of these soup cans to the gallery, but I swear this weekend I'll actually paint some new stuff. And clean off the desk, for god's sake. And fix the screen door. Yup. Definitely."

That would explain the electric chair fixation. Jolt Cola hadn't been invented, so he went for the real thing.

The goatee and redeye in #2 produce a rather, uh, satanic look. Sort of a reversed Rosmary's Baby: Helena's Daddy?

I heard on Le Show a couple of weeks ago that a body of Warhol trustees is about to rule a huge chunk of those products as inauthentic on the reasonable grounds that Warhol never even knew the people who made them. They didn't call it The Factory for nothing.

Sixty more hours of sleep?

For God's sake, let the baby rest. Have mercy on the little one.

Baby=big black obelisk
Everyone else in the photos=the scientists on the moon.

Hey Bill? Didja try (in Photoshop): File/Automate Work Flow/Create Web Gallery?

My favorite composition is the pic of T holding HC on the sofa while the cat perches over them in the window in that feline way of being sooo above it all.
