I still giggle!

Reminiscent of Lionel Hutz's lawsuit against "The Neverending Story"

My favorite part is at the end, where she implores the non-addicted to refrain from beginning until some poor, already-ruined soul can sound the "all clear."

The other reviewers, incidentally, echo her complaint about the promise of "Book Four of Four" being essentially false advertising. I love how the human need for narrative closure is getting turned here into an element of customer satisfaction.

And what is it with this George Lucas guy? Sheesh. Him and J.K. Rowling.

Here's a fun way to see just how much free time a lot of people have (inspired in part by www.lordofthepeeps.com, whose master has SOOOOOOO much free time, plus a lot of stale peeps)

Google on "with apologies to Tolkien" or "with apologies to J.K. Rowling", etc. I haven't tried "with apologies to Tolstoy" -- does anyone have time to write "War and Peace" fanfic? I really don't want to see the peep version, either.

This is what you get when you Google apologies to Mark Twain:

In regards to my post from yesterday, I can't believe I missed the obvious joke about "War and Peeps"

Oh, and this kind of falls in line with my long-standing desire to stage an all-Muppet version of Oedipus.

Mainly for the scene where he plucks out his eyes. (Plock! Plock!)

Scott, I demand that you produce at once the cast list for "Muppetus Rex."

Oh, and who doesn't remember the "Pluck Out His Eyes, Pluck Out His Eyes" musical number (a banjo tune, if I recall), from the episode of the Muppet Show with special guest star James Joyce?

I picture Cookie Monster as Oedipus, his mouth agape and doing that Cookie Monster head bob, his level joi de vive contuining even as he plock!s his big plastic eyes off.

And that's about as far as I've gotten.
