My favorite part is at the end, where she implores the non-addicted to refrain from beginning until some poor, already-ruined soul can sound the "all clear."

The other reviewers, incidentally, echo her complaint about the promise of "Book Four of Four" being essentially false advertising. I love how the human need for narrative closure is getting turned here into an element of customer satisfaction.

And what is it with this George Lucas guy? Sheesh. Him and J.K. Rowling.

Oh, and who doesn't remember the "Pluck Out His Eyes, Pluck Out His Eyes" musical number (a banjo tune, if I recall), from the episode of the Muppet Show with special guest star James Joyce?

I picture Cookie Monster as Oedipus, his mouth agape and doing that Cookie Monster head bob, his level joi de vive contuining even as he plock!s his big plastic eyes off.

And that's about as far as I've gotten.
