Sandy, Well how nice that you and your family were able to benefit from the hard work of taxpaying citizens. Were you here legally? Pell Grants, food stamps, Medicad, Headstart, Housing that was not up to your standards? My family are middle class workers and have not gotten a penny from others. We pay our own way, healthcare fully paid by us. College tuition, no Pell Grants grants for college the middle class workers, and we make our mortgage payments…! People like you outrage me. My children owe thousands or dollars for their college loans. I guess we are the stupid ones – we work for what we have.
HUD needs to be abolished along with Section 8.
