LANTE CORPORATION: Senior Writer/Editor
Provided direction on content strategy issues, site copy writing and editing, and related tasks for the East region of an e-commerce consulting firm specializing in large-scale initiatives. Directed content and editorial effort on major projects including

  • design and launch of a web portal for high net worth individuals;
  • design and launch of a global website for a multinational insurance company;
  • redesign of the website of a major chemicals industry corporation.

Responsibilities on these and other projects included creating overall goals for content for the initiative, creating site nomenclature, managing freelance and in-house copy sources, editing and rewriting existing informational and marketing copy, and overseeing quality of all final copy. Additionally, helped develop and implement a new approach to identifying client content management and editorial workflow needs; developed content and usability perspectives for multiple business development initiatives and proposals.

Taught undergraduate courses ranging from composition and critical thinking to upper-level seminars in 19th-century and modern literature. Presented research at various national and international conferences on the study of literature and culture between 1890-1940.
